What the heck is Qigong? In many ways, it’s the foundation of Tai Chi, and is its own form of self-healing and meditation. Qigong consists of simple exercises that build strength, increase flexibility, and help reset your body and mind to their naturally relaxed and happy state. Unlike Tai Chi, Qigong is not a martial art, although some of the movements have martial-art-like qualities. If you’re pressed for time, and not sure you can attend classes consistently, or if you’re dealing with a health challenge or stress overload, this is a great place to start.
