I began practicing Tai Chi to recover from a serious accident in 1991. Since then, I've expanded my studies to include other internal martial arts, including Lok Hup Ba Fa and Tai Chi weapons, as well as Qigong exercises and meditation.
The focus of my own practice is understanding the internal aspect of Tai Chi, Qigong, and related arts, correct movement, using these arts to safely and comfortably address specific challenges, and Tai Chi as martial art. I share all these aspects of my practice with my co-instructors and students, and have seen amazing transformations happen through regular Tai Chi and Qigong practice. I've been teaching since the late 1990s.
Tai Chi and Qigong classes at the Regent Centre offer high-quality instruction for all levels. From your very first class, our aim is to help you feel better in your body, gain mental and emotional clarity, and lift up your spirit. We teach compassion toward the self and others while striving to remain in good humour. Our practice space is a safe space.
