Chiko Shimbori, Yoga Instructor

Chiko is a certified yoga teacher with over 3 years of professional experience in leading Hatha yoga classes, and she has recently been certified as a Prenatal / Postnatal Yoga instructor.

Outside of yoga, Chiko is a professional scientist studying gut -microbiome-immune-brain interactions. She is fascinated by and is excited to explore “the body and mind relationship”. Our body, mind and spirit are deeply connected to each other, and yoga practice helps to keep them integrated.

Chiko strongly believe that yoga is a preventive approach to support peoples’ healthy lifestyles. The experience of giving birth increased her confidence in the power of yoga and she hopes to share that with people during their pre and post-natal journey.Through the experience of giving birth, I am more confident with the power of yoga.

Chiko’s yoga style focuses on listening to your body and mind through asana, breathing and meditation practice.
