Kim Agostino, yoga instructor

Kim is a strong believer in yoga’s healing and nurturing benefits. She completed her yoga teacher training in 2011 through CPTN and a second 206 teacher training program in 2012. She is also a certified personal trainer, and has completed the National Coaching Certificate Program (NCCP) with Triathlon Canada.

She is a long time Hamilton resident, amateur athlete, previous small business owner, and has a breadth of experience in the health and wellness industry over the past 24 years. She has experience working with post-cardiac care, and osteoporosis patients at the YWCA fitness facility. She regularly attends seminars through the Canadian Personal Training Network in nutrition, healthy agin and performance. In 2021 she collaborated with another yoga teacher to create Aviva Yoga. In addition to teaching yoga, she is currently coaching recreational running and triathlon which is one of her greatest passions.

Ultimately, It is a love of people, anatomy and discovering the link between the movement of the physical body and our internal connections that has guided her yoga-journey. She continues to be inspired by breath, body and awareness and its effects. Through observation, encouragement and compassion; the yoga fire burns.  Her belief is that there is yoga for everyone and that we are all meant to shine pain free, without fear, one breath at a time.
