DESCRIPTION:This Yoga Nidra series is designed to to help you improve your quality of sleep\, reduce feelings of stress and foster feelings of calmness and wellbeing. \n\n\n\nYoga Nidra is a form of deep relaxation and meditation technique where\, while lying in a comfortable position you will be guided through the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping with instructions similar to a guided meditation. You will be asked to become aware of different bodily sensations\, emotions\, thoughts and images. This deep state of relaxation of body and mind helps us to regulate our interoceptive awareness\, facilitating our ability to come to a balanced state of being; calm and aware. \n\n\n\nThe practice will begin with some gentle movements to release some tension from the body and mind\, followed by the Yoga Nidra practice approximately 40 mins\, then a few minutes to journal or draw mandalas which will help to integrate the Yoga Nidra experience further. \n\n\n\nCost: $20 drop in (including HST) or $177.50 for 10 class pass \n\n\n\n\nBook Class

This class offers step-by-step instruction in the Tai Chi set. It’s the place to start if you’ve never tried Tai Chi before. DESCRIPTION:What the heck is Qigong? In many ways\, it’s the foundation of Tai Chi\, and is its own form of self-healing and meditation. Qigong consists of simple exercises that build strength\, increase flexibility\, and help reset your body and mind to their naturally relaxed and happy state. Unlike Tai Chi\, Qigong is not a martial art\, although some of the movements have martial-art-like qualities. Even if it’s been a while since you practiced\, you’re very welcome to attend these classes\, as long as you have some familiarity with our form. DESCRIPTION:This Yoga Nidra series is designed to to help you improve your quality of sleep\, reduce feelings of stress and foster feelings of calmness and wellbeing. \n\n\n\nYoga Nidra is a form of deep relaxation and meditation technique where\, while lying in a comfortable position you will be guided through the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping with instructions similar to a guided meditation. You will be asked to become aware of different bodily sensations\, emotions\, thoughts and images. This deep state of relaxation of body and mind helps us to regulate our interoceptive awareness\, facilitating our ability to come to a balanced state of being; calm and aware. \n\n\n\nThe practice will begin with some gentle movements to release some tension from the body and mind\, followed by the Yoga Nidra practice approximately 40 mins\, then a few minutes to journal or draw mandalas which will help to integrate the Yoga Nidra experience further. \n\n\n\nCost: $20 drop in (including HST) or $177.50 for 10 class pass \n\n\n\n\nBook Class
