Claire, originally from Nova Scotia, completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University. She then went on to graduate from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
Claire’s post-graduate training has included functional movement assessment, which enables her to take a systematic approach and get to the root of the problem. Claire has also completed extensive training in pelvic health. This allows her to assess and treat conditions of the pelvic floor including: pelvic pain, pain with sex, urinary and faecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and diastasis rectus abdominis. Claire thoroughly enjoys working with the perinatal population. She is passionate about helping moms prepare for their labour and delivery and guiding them through their recovery postpartum.
Claire believes in a holistic approach to therapy. She works alongside her clients to develop functional goals then uses a combination of education, individualized exercises, and hands-on therapeutic techniques to help them achieve those goals.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys staying active with weights and pilates classes, getting outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
