Any body and everybody! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring all people together to sweat it on.
We take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you’ll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. No experience is required.
A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.
My story begins years ago when I told myself I need to start exercising and taking care of myself. I’ve always loved to dance on my own (N*Sync, Michael Jackson and Spice Girls, etc.). I decided to take a class a Zumba class at the Hamilton Downtown YMCA and I got hooked!! I noticed the inches started to fall off! I was actually having fun while working out!! I decided to become a Certified Zumba Instructor in November 2013 and have since also become licensed to teach Zumba Kids and Kids Jr. and Zumba Gold. Zumba opened my eyes to the world of fitness and ignited a passion that I didn’t know was even in me!! I’ve branched out in the land of fitness and am also a Cardio Dance Instructor and Certified Group Fitness Instructor for Aqua Fit through the YMCA as well as my Senior’s Fitness Instructor through the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging (CCAA). My goal is to make fitness fun!!
